Vernon’s daughter’s visit to the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation

Vernon’s daughter, Ouida Corea Wickramaratne and her family visited the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, formerly known as Radio Ceylon in July 2013. Ouida met with the Chairman of SLBC Hudson Samarasinghe and SLBC staff. It brought back so many childhood memories for Ouida who has visited the station with her father Vernon Corea.

Ouida Corea Wickramaratne, daughter of Sri Lankan broadcasting legend Vernon Corea and her family with the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Mr. Hudson Samarasinghe in July 2013 in the Chairman's Office. Vernon knew Hudson very well since the 1970s. Hudson Samarasinghe was a regular visitor to Vernon Corea's BBC Office at The Langham in London.
