Leaders and broadcasters from across The Commonwealth will be  at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Convention Hall for CHOGM 2013 from 10th - 17th November.

His Royal Highness, Prince Charles the Prince of Wales will address Commonwealth Leaders and Broadcasters at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Sri Lanka at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Convention Hall (BMICH) in the heart of Colombo. Broadcasters from across the world including the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (formerly Radio Ceylon) and the British Broadcasting Corporation will cover the event. The BMICH has been recently refurbished for CHOGM 2013. Back in the 1970s and 1980s Vernon Corea’s neighbour, the late E.C.G. (Lyn) Wickremasinghe, former General Manager of the Bank of Ceylon who lived down Maha Nuge Gardens in Colombo was appointed Director-General of the BMICH.
