Romesh Gunesekera joined hundreds of people who attended the historic Autism Sunday Service in 2002 at St.Paul's Cathedral in London. It was a very moving service.

Romesh Gunesekera is a distinguished writer who was born in Sri Lanka and lives in the United Kingdom. Vernon Corea met Romesh Gunesekera for the first time in 2002 at a very special service organised by Vernon’s son Ivan at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. Romesh Gunesekera brought his whole family to the first ever Autism Sunday Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London to lend support to Britain’s autism community. Hundreds of parents, carers and families with autism attended this historic service to mark Autism Sunday.
